Oh, to be a Child, Again!

Oh, to be a Child, Again!
I really believe the Lord marked me at a very young age. My parents use to go to a Presbyterian Church, and throughout my life they told me that I stood up in front of the Church and sang Jesus loves me- Yes, I know for the Bible tells me so. It must have been a special time for my Mom because she would talk about it all the time. She would say how wonderful it was when I was singing it. How much greater is our heavenly Father. He must have soaked all that praise in. It must have been a sweet-smelling fragrance to him. A little child singing about how much God loves him. I think about what Jesus said in Matthew 18:2-4.  Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. I believe I was around three years old. I was innocent from the world. My parents hadn’t divorced yet and I believe it was one of my greatest days on the earth. Oh, to sing praises to our King, oh how the smell of the fragrance must have been to Him. I think of how he must have felt turning and looking around. Bragging with the angels saying there’s one of my children singing about how much I love him. All of heaven must have chimed in singing along about the love of Jesus. What a moment that must have been. Oh, to be a little child again!

Betrayed!

Betrayed! My girlfriend was living with another man . . . in my home!

I suspected that she was cheating on me. She was staying out all night partying with her "friends from work" then coming home either drunk or hung over. Then there was this guy at work she was always talking about. I confronted her and demanded to know if she was having an affair. She lied to me and denied it. I was furious. In a jealous rage I stormed out of the home, slamming the door behind me. I left and moved to my parent's home nearby.

My world was shattered. How could she do this to me? We had been living together for five years. I loved this girl. I had offered to marry her. Didn't that mean anything to her? What about all the good times we had shared?

To be honest, I hadn't been the best guy to hang around. I was a regular drinker. I hadn't always been considerate of her. Maybe we could talk this out I reasoned. A week later I found out that the guy from work had moved in with her. I was outraged! I called her on the phone. She still denied having an affair. She insisted that this man she was now living with was "just a friend". Yeah, right. She said that she "didn't want me out of the picture yet." What did that mean? I could feel my rage boiling over. I threatened to kill her and her new lover. I slammed down the receiver.

One of my buddies at work tried to console me. "Forget about her. You'll find another one." He took me to bars, but it didn't help. I really couldn't talk to any women. I was angry with all women because of what my girlfriend had done to me. I became depressed. I tried to fill my life with pornography. My thoughts became darker. I contemplated suicide.

One day I was sitting in front of the television set channel surfing and I stopped and heard a pastor preaching a sermon on forgiveness. His sermon was about forgiving others so God could forgive us. He said that God cannot forgive us unless we forgive others. He read a scripture from the book of Mark. "If you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive you your trespasses." I realized that I was a sinner and that I needed forgiveness of my sins.

I also realized that I needed to forgive my ex-girlfriend for what she did to me. The pastor prayed a prayer of salvation and I accepted Jesus into my heart. When I got up from my knees praying I felt the load of sin and depression lift from me. The Lord had given me peace. A peace that I had never had before. I felt God's unconditional love. God had sacrificed Jesus, His only Son, for me. Jesus willingly died on the cross and took the punishment I had deserved so that I could have abundant life, and when I die He has a place for me in Heaven. Even when I didn't know God, He still loved me. If I had been the only person on earth, God still would have sent Jesus to die for me. And that would be the same for you. He did it for all of us.

Do you need peace? Maybe you aren't struggling with loneliness, anger or depression, like I was. Whatever it is that you are fighting against, Jesus is the answer. He can help you overcome anything. Are you sick? Jesus is the healer. Are you addicted to pornography, drugs or alcohol? Jesus will set you free.

God loves you and has a great plan for your life. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a hope and a future." Jesus said in John 10:10, . . . I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly."

How can you receive the abundant life Jesus has for you?
In John 3:3 Jesus said to Nicodemus, a religious leader, "Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom," In Romans 10:9-10 the Bible says "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for your sins and rose again you can be assured that you will go to heaven.

Pray this Prayer:
Dear God, I know that I have sinned and that I need help. I believe in my heart that Jesus is your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins and that You raised Him from the dead. Jesus, I ask for your forgiveness of my sins, wash me clean with your blood. Jesus, I open my heart and invite you to come in. Make yourself real to me. I confess you as Lord and Savior in my life. Please help me to walk with You and learn Your ways. I give You total control of my life. Amen.

Where do I go from here?
Pray every day. Read your Bible beginning with the New Testament. Attend a good Bible believing Church that operates in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and teaches the full gospel of Jesus Christ. Receive full-emersion baptism. Fellowship regularly with other believers in Jesus Christ.

Go and Declare, Inc. Newsletter

Nuevo Laredo, Mexico

So much happened in Costa Rica that I had to wait to share about what happened on our last Nuevo Laredo, Mexico trip. I wasn’t even home for less than 24 hours and I was on my way to meet Bro. Richard Davis to go to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. The Lord connected us with Pastor David Burkett through my mentor Joel Crumpton. We preached a revival meeting the Friday night that we were there, and several folks came to Jesus! In the picture to the right, you can see that the altars were full of folks giving their lives to Jesus! The Lord really blessed these precious people! All the glory goes to King Jesus!

The next morning, we got to share with the local Pastors about Revival, Prayer and Unity. It was amazing! The Lord directed us to have the Pastors come, take the microphone and pray for the city of Nuevo Laredo. It was such a precious moment! You could really sense the heart of the Father! The Lord really did something special in the hearts of the Pastors that morning! Praise Jesus!

Atlanta, Georgia

John and I had an amazing time helping Bro. Joel Crumpton pass out tracks in the Cumming, Ga. Parade. It was overwhelming. We had thousands of people watching the parade and Joel carried the cross pretty much the whole way. The tracks had the million-dollar question on it. Children would follow us to make sure they would get one. We passed out thousands of them and it was a precious time to be able to minister with my son John. He’s an amazing teenager almost all grown up and he love’s Jesus!

Testimony

It’s so amazing that the Lord continues to lead me to folks running for political office. In the picture to the right, this precious man pulled up in a truck with a huge sign. He got out of his truck and walked straight up to me. He’s running for Senator in the State of Georgia and is a born-again Christian. It turned out that he gave his life to Jesus in the Military in Pensacola. What a coincidence? It was an honor for him to let us pray for him! The Lord gave me a word for him to not bow to the political system. He said that was a confirming word because he was just talking about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Love this guy! May the Lord totally bless him!

Pensacola, FL Children’s Outreach

We always have an amazing time ministering to the children at Oakwood Terrace. Fraga and Susan Darosa came with an amazing team teaching the children soccer skills and playing games with them. They are such a tremendous blessing to the children. At the end of the day, Fraga shared a testimony and several hands went up to receive the Lord. Praise to the name of Jesus!

Susan Flynn and Susie Reilly taught the smaller children. Suzie brought these amazing fireman hats and the children got to write bible scriptures on them. It was so precious to see them wearing their little hats. The children are so precious in the eyes of Jesus. They are so happy to see us come and play with them. Most of them are in tears when we leave and our hearts break.  Its one of my favorite outreaches!

New Mexico, Mexico and Costa Rica

I have been overwhelmed at the response of your prayers and financial support for these trips starting in September! The Lord has provided all the traveling expenses. It’s been totally supernatural! It’s been on my heart to be able to take extra finances to bless the families in the mountains in Costa Rica with basic food supplies and bottled water. These families are very poor, and they weigh on my heart. I can’t wait to see them in November!

Thank You

…for praying and for your generous financial support. You are truly amazing, and we know if it weren’t for you there’s no way, we could do these things the Lord has called us to do. Your generosity is overwhelming!

Go and Declare's Newsletter for July 2019

Costa Rica

Wow! The Costa Rica Trip was so amazing! As soon I landed and got to my hotel, I knew the Lord was going to move powerfully. I received news that I didn’t get picked to go on the Village Crusades in Africa and immediately the enemy started whispering in my ear. He was telling me that I didn’t get picked because I was too old now and I was all washed up.

I sought out some council and was encouraged by my mentor Bro. Bert Farias, my good friend Richard Davis and my amazing wife. Bro. Bert told me to just keep leaving the 99 and going after the 1 and my wife spoke the scripture over me that God will make room for me and bring before great men. Both happened Praise Jesus!

Precious Family in Mountains

In the picture to the right is a precious family in the Mountains. Once I met them, my heart to started to break. This is a very poor village that used to work jobs at the University, but the School has been closed and they now have no jobs. Their homes are falling a part and they have no food to eat. The Lord used me to share the gospel with the teenage girl and she came to the Lord. The Lord also healed the Mom’s back pain. Later in the week, we were able to bring them food and clothing to help them. Believing to bring them supplies when I return in November.  Please keep this family in your prayers!

Business Meetings with Frank

My Friend Frank is a geologist and he conducts business meetings to help clean the beaches from logs and debris. Frank brought me a long and I had the chance to preach the gospel and pray for folks. In the picture to the left were predominant businessmen. After I had the chance to share with them, every one of them got down on their knees and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. All praise goes to Jesus!

Business Meeting in Pontaranus, Costa Rica

Frank conducted a business meeting at a Fishing Village in Pontaranus and I had the opportunity to pray for the sick. The Lord moved powerfully there. Several folks received healing. One of the things the Lord lead me to do was to teach the people that they could lay hands on the sick and see the Lord heal. I would have them lay hands on each other and it was amazing to see the Lord touch and heal his people. All glory goes to Jesus!

Presidents House

This was amazing! The word the Lord gave my wife was totally coming to pass. Frank was able to get us in for a tour of the President’s house. I was able to meet the Minister to the President and the Minister to the deaf. The Minister to the deaf took my testimony tract and told me that she would give it to the President and the First Lady. I found out that they read my testimony and they are wanting to meet with me when I return. Praise Jesus! How exciting!

Amazing Testimonies

This gentleman on the right was healed while we were visiting at Pastor Rogelio’s home.  His wife called Pastor Rogelio while they were in the Emergency Room and right over the phone, we had his wife pray over him and speak healing. He was released from the hospital right after. Here’s us visiting him the day after. Praise to King Jesus!

This was so amazing! On my last day, I got to visit many families. So many healings took place and folks gave their lives to Jesus. At this house, I prayed for the man in the left picture and the Lord healed his back. I was going to have him pray for the lady because she needed healing in her knee. She had an accident about a year ago, had surgery and it wasn’t healing properly. She couldn’t bend her knee. Pastor Rogelio whispered in my ear telling me that he wasn’t born again, so I preached the gospel to the man and he came to the Lord. I then had him lay hands on the girl and had him just say a simple prayer of healing. She was immediately healed. I then preached to her, as well and she gave her life to Jesus. All praise goes to Jesus!

Traveling Schedule Kicks back in!

Woo Hoo! I’m excited to back in Pensacola briefly for some outreaches with the Freedom in Action Team through the summer. This week, John and I will be heading out to Atlanta to Evangelize at a Parade on the 4th of July in Cumming, Ga with Bro. Joel Crumpton. In September, I will be in New Mexico helping with an Evangelism Conference and Prayer. In October, Richard Davis and I will be helping Pastor David Burkett with a crusade in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. In November, Richard Davis and I travel to Costa Rica for a very special trip. Frank is planning for us to travel to the Islands on a sailboat conducting business meetings and praying for the sick and preaching the gospel. When he asked me to come back and do this, all I could think about was Paul and Silas. Its going to be awesome! After the Islands, we’ll be visiting churches and homes, praying for the sick and preaching the gospel! This is so Exciting! The Lord is moving powerfully already to help meet the needs for these trips. What an opportunity to see the faithfulness of Jesus and I know that all the financial needs will be met!

Thank You

Thank You Everyone for prayed for me and helping me financial support! What an amazing ride it’s been so far! So many things have happened that I cannot even put it in this Newsletter! I will share more in the next one! May the Lord financially bless you guys superabundantly! Can’t wait to see everyone face to face! We love you very much!

Go and Declare's Newsletter for June 2019

Atlanta, Georgia

Fraga DaRosa, Brian Liechty and I had an amazing time in Atlanta, Ga. We got to go out on the streets of Atlanta carrying the cross with Joel Crumpton and his amazing team. The Lord did so many amazing things that day!  Here’s a couple testimonies!

Wow! Joel was Preaching to a crowd and there was two South African Girls that had just got off the plane. They were getting ready to leave and the Lord told me that one of them needed healing. One of the ladies needed healing in her back! I declared the kingdom of Heaven had come near to them and that the Lord was going to heal her! I had her friend put her hand on her back and then declared healing into the lady in Jesus Name! She checked herself and the Lord healed her! She had no pain and her testimony opened the door for another lady to receive her healing and she came back to the Lord!

After the lady from South Africa shared her testimony Joel had a word of Knowledge that another person needed to be healed! Andrea came forward. Joel had Brian Liechty put his hands on her shoulders and say in the name of Jesus be healed. The Lord instantly healed her! Then she came back to the Lord and reactivated the gift of the Holy Ghost praying with us! All glory goes to King Jesus!

Reimagine Event in Cantonment, FL

It was amazing to be able to participate again with the Reimagine Event. This time the event was in Cantonment, FL.  Our Pensacola Freedom in Action Team participated by manning the prayer tent and sending out teams to pray and evangelize. The Lord did so many amazing things that day. We had healings, folks rededicating their lives back to Jesus and a lady baptized in the Holy Ghost. Here’s a couple testimonies!

Susan Carr brought Amanda to the Reimagine Event Today. She just moved to Pensacola. I asked her if she had been baptized in the Holy Ghost! She said yes, but she was talking about baptism in water! I talked to her about receiving the power of the Holy Ghost and she immediately said she wanted the gift! We prayed for her and she received the Holy Ghost, Fire and prayed in other tongues! She said heat was all over her! Praise Jesus!

Several of our team members got to pray for this precious lady that’s in the picture to the right. She was hurting from her neck all down her back! Praise Jesus! After prayer, she said that her pain had left!

Mexico

This opportunity just came up for me to possibly go to Mexico the day after I get back. Really praying into this opportunity. It will be the day after I get back from Costa Rica and I will be traveling with Bro. Richard Davis and will be connecting with new Pastors and friends. We will be doing an Evangelistic Outreach and ministry to Pastors! Still praying into this, but I’m leaning towards going. I already got the OK from Tami and John.

Thank You

Words cannot even describe how Thankful I am for you guys! Thank You guys so much for your prayer and financial support in sending me to the front lines! Go and Declare's May Newsletter 2019

Flea Market Outreach in Pensacola, FL

Our Flea Market outreach in Pensacola is always amazing. I love discipling folks to share the gospel. Here’s a couple testimonies from the day.

Kim and her Mom Bobby came and jumped right in. I told them that I was here for them just as much as the people we were going to pray for. The Lord touched many lives thru them! In the picture to the right they prayed and lead this precious girl to Jesus! The Lord gets all the glory!

In the picture to the left are the Harvitzes. I was contacted by them because their children wanted to share Jesus and wanted to come to the Flea Market Outreach.  This family is so precious! Their older daughter brought her Bible so she could read the Bible to everyone that walked by. I know that her act of kindness touched so many people that day! The word of God was sown into people’s hearts. May the Lord send folks to water the seed in Jesus Name!

We had the honor to have Chris and Misty Miller at the Flea Market with us. These guys prayed, prophesied and prayed for the sick! The Lord did amazing things thru these guys. In the picture to the right, the Lord touched this precious girl’s body and healed her. All the glory goes to Jesus!

Vidor, Texas

The time in Vidor, Texas was so amazing! Our goal was to have a weekend of prayer, evangelism training, hitting the streets and bringing the lost to the Resurrection Service on Sunday. I believe Friday Night was the key. We sought the Lord in Worship and Prayer. I believe the ground was broken up that night. Folks came to the altar with repentance and intercession for souls. It was an amazing night! I really felt like it was a prayer meeting that we would do in Brownsville Assembly many years ago!
Evangelism Teams sent out

Sat. over 30 folks came together to receive evangelism training from Levi Lutz and hit the streets with various teams. We had two hours of testimonies of folks being touched by the Lord and coming to Jesus. We even had an Indian Woman give her life to Jesus! In the picture to the right, we had a lady request for prayer to be delivered from Nicotine. Praise Jesus! She recommitted her life to the Lord and for the Lord to take all that desire away from her. Our Lord is amazing!

Resurrection Sunday

The resurrection service was so amazing on Sunday in Vidor. Many of the folks who we ministered to on the streets on Sat. came to church that day. Evangelist Levi Lutz preached the gospel and many of them came to the altar that day to give their lives to Jesus! Jesus gets all the glory!

Leonard Ravenhill House in Lindale, TX

On Monday, I had the honor to stay and share at the Leonard Ravenhill House, again. My amazing friends Levi and Ashley Lutz purchased this house supernaturally over a year ago. I had Revival on my heart all weekend and I knew the Lord was leading me in that direction. I had something prepared, but the Lord woke me up early in the morning and had me changed my direction a little bit. I preached a message called preparation, desperation, restoration and transformation. The Lord had given me a vision that folks would be on their faces with a burden of intercession for our country again. The Lord lead me to play an audio called Revival Fire and to pray for everyone to have a fresh burden for our cities and our country. Intercession hit us and we will all on our faces praying for our country to have Revival and Awakening again. I will never forget Bro. Levi whispering in my ear saying to me what you think Bro. Leonard is saying right now in heaven. My prayer is that what he started Monday Night in the Ravenhill house will sweep the nation. May we get a fresh burden of prayer for our country. Do it again Lord in a greater way!

I believe May will be our busiest month yet!

Probably when you get this Newsletter the team will be on their way to Atlanta to be with Evangelist Joel Crumpton. We will be hitting the streets of downtown Atlanta with the cross and doing some treasure hunts. Please keep us in prayer for divine appointments! When I get back to Pensacola, we have two outreaches that the Freedom in Action team will be involved with. Reimagine and the Pensacola Beach Fest. Our main assignment will be prayer and evangelism. Totally Excited! At the end of the month, I fly out to Costa Rica to be with my friend Frank, who I met at Freedom Church several times. It was a total divine appointment meeting him and now I’m on my way to see him. Please pray for the rest of the finances to come in and for the Lord to totally direct us on this trip. I believe this trip will open a door for teams to go there on future trips! I have high expectations!

Thank You

I can’t thank you guys enough for your prayers and financial support! It always brings me to tears when I think about you guys as I write. I am praying for you even now that the Lord will bless you guys with great health and continue to bless your finances! You guys are truly amazing, and we love you so much!

Blessings,

Reimagine Event Testimony

Our Freedom in Action Team got to serve the Reimagine event with prayer and evangelism. Bobby, Austin and I had hot dogs and chips and got to sit down at these two precious ladies table. The grandmother had an oxygen tank and was receiving oxygen thru a tube in her nose. Bobby came over to pray for her and after prayer Austin asked her if she could take here oxygen tube off, so she could see if she could breathe. The lady was totally healed, and she could breathe on her own. I told them that I now had the responsibility to share the gospel. Bobby and I shared the gospel and her granddaughter gave her life to the Lord! All praise goes to Jesus!

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Door to Door Evangelism Testimony

Richard Davis, Earnestine Brown, Nicole Segar’s and I went door to door to spread the word that we were going to have an outreach under the tent the next day. The Lord led us to this family! They invited us in! We got to pray for the sick, prophesy and preach the gospel. Folks came to Jesus and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost! The presence of the Lord in this home was amazing! All glory goes to Jesus!

Tent Outreach

The Sunday Tent Outreach was so amazing! The Lord brought people to us all day for prayer. There were folks healed and many folks came to Jesus! We had several folks give us their information so they can be water baptized. I believe the Lord is planting a church! The Lord gave me a vision of that field filled with people worshipping the Lord! Our Jesus is amazing, and He receives all the glory! He loves these precious people so much!

On the road again

So excited that I hit the road again this month! I will be in Carriere, Miss. with the House of Refuge family on April 18th, then I head to Vidor, Texas to be part of an Evangelism Weekend at Resurrection Life Church. Then on the last night, I will be with the Harvest House group at the Leonard Ravenhill House. I believe its going to be amazing! We will be hitting the streets of downtown Atlanta with the cross, doing treasure hunts and helping with a homeless outreach on the last day. It’s always amazing to be around Joel because the Lord uses him to stir me up to believe for miracles and folks to come to the Lord! I believe this trip will be life changing for sure!

Costa Rica May 28th-June 4th, 2019

Looks like we locked in the dates for Costa Rica. The team will be visiting families. Preaching in Churches and Evangelizing! There’s also a possibility to be able to stay in an Indian Village for a couple days! It’s exciting to go into new territory! Still believing for the funding for this trip! What an opportunity to see the faithfulness of Jesus!

Thank You

Thank You everyone for your prayers and financial support! It’s amazing what the Lord has done in my life since I made that decision on March 9th, 2014 to give the Lord everything. I remember spending time with Him and Jesus asking me if I would be happy with His presence and going to the streets to reach the one. The one that was lost! I just recently received a word from the Holy Spirit saying “Until I was satisfied with just His presence and going after the one! He would not trust me with multitudes!” I believe it’s a sobering word! Keeps me humble! That’s what I continue to do. Love Him and go after the one. The Lord is the one that gives the increase and I believe he has with trips like Mexico, Costa Rica and now being involved with Christ for All Nations. You guys are a major part of this. We are all on the same team and we all share in the rewards together. Thank You so much for your prayers and sending me out with your financial support! I couldn’t do it without you!  You are amazing! More news to come soon! The Waters Family loves You!

Blessings,
