I really believe the Lord marked me at a very young age. My parents use to go to a Presbyterian Church, and throughout my life they told me that I stood up in front of the Church and sang Jesus loves me- Yes, I know for the Bible tells me so. It must have been a special time for my Mom because she would talk about it all the time. She would say how wonderful it was when I was singing it. How much greater is our heavenly Father. He must have soaked all that praise in. It must have been a sweet-smelling fragrance to him. A little child singing about how much God loves him. I think about what Jesus said in Matthew 18:2-4. Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. I believe I was around three years old. I was innocent from the world. My parents hadn’t divorced yet and I believe it was one of my greatest days on the earth. Oh, to sing praises to our King, oh how the smell of the fragrance must have been to Him. I think of how he must have felt turning and looking around. Bragging with the angels saying there’s one of my children singing about how much I love him. All of heaven must have chimed in singing along about the love of Jesus. What a moment that must have been. Oh, to be a little child again!
