Because I want You to Remember

I have been interested in Meridian, Mississippi ever since I heard that Maria Woodworth Etter used to hold camp meetings there. I heard about all the miracles that have happened in her ministry, especially people falling into trances. One of my favorite traits about her is that she was one of the only ministers that moved in all nine gifts of the Holy Ghost. I started to hunger and pray for this in my own life. I went with a Christmas trip several years ago to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and upon our return we stopped in Meridian, Mississippi to get some gas and use the bathroom. I was filled with a lot of zeal after being on a fruitful mission’s trip. I prayed a bold prayer in the bathroom. I asked the Lord to let me move in all nine gifts of the Holy Ghost, just like Maria did. I said that to the Lord that He was no respecter of persons and that I should be able to move in all nine gifts, as well. I was taken back by His response. He asked me this question, but are you willing to pay the price to use them. I felt like I received a spanking, but I knew that I hadn’t paid the price. I knew what He was talking about. Was I willing to let the Holy Ghost have complete control of my life? Was I willing to pay the price in prayer and fasting? Was I willing to be obedient to everything the Lord would ask me to do? We talk a good game, but really, we want everything fast and quick. We want to just pray a few minutes and have the power gifts immediately. I repented, and I have started to seek Him concerning these things. Since that time, I am always drawn to stop in Meridian to pray and seek the Lord.

In February 2016, I was drawn to stop and pray in Meridian, Miss. I drove through the city listening for what the Lord wanted me to pray. I stopped at this huge church called Evangel and prayed for the city of Meridian. I prayed for the Lord to pour out His spirit again in Meridian and America and I went on my way to minister in Tuscaloosa.

In May of 2016, I was drawn again to stop and pray in Meridian. This time I went around and asked folks if they remembered what had happened in the late 1800’s in their city. I even went to the Library and asked the clerk about Maria Woodworth Etter. Nobody in the library could give me any information about her. I walked back to my car and prayed. I asked the Lord why do you keep bringing me back to this city. He spoke to my heart and said because I want you to remember. He said for me to pray for revival for America and to ask for Him to do it again in the city and He gave me two scriptures.

Is. 58:12-Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

Jer. 6:16-Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

I was directed to pray these scriptures and pray for the Lord to restore the old paths. Just like the enemy has taken all of the history of Maria Woodworth Etter from Meridian, he has been trying to take away any remembrance of the Lord out of our society. Prayer taken out of our schools and the Ten Commandments out of our judicial building. He has been taken out of all of our history books and being replaced with a more secular view. Liberals are refusing to say One Nation under God in our Pledge of Allegiance and they will not stop until it’s totally taken out. I remember that Iraq once was a Christian nation many years, ago. Could this happen to America? It most definitely can at the rate we are going if we don’t stand up and fight. We must fight in prayer and fasting. We must become all that we are in Christ. Will we pay the price?

In conclusion, I’m asking the question that the Lord asked me in Meridian, Mississippi last year during the Christmas season. The question is, will you pay the price? One of my favorite ministers was Kathryn Kuhlman. I love watching the videos of her on You Tube. She was used mightily by the Lord in miracles, signs and wonders, but there was one thing she would always say. She would say that we could do the same works that she did, if we would only pay the price. You see friends we are not saved to just go to heaven. Yes, we get to go to heaven, but if He saved us to just go to heaven He would have taken us when we were born again. We are saved for a purpose and that’s to populate the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Misfit's Series

The Lord looks at the heart

1 Sam. 16: 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
In order to understand 1 Sam. 16:7, we have to go back to 1 Sam. 8 when Israel demanded a King. When Samuel was Judge over Israel at the time and his sons were going to take over his place when he died. Samuel’s sons did not follow in the ways of the Lord. The elders were not happy with Samuel’s son’s leadership and asked Samuel to give them a king just like all the other nations. They must have looked at what the other nations had and what they didn’t have. The other nations lifted up there king and I’m sure the other nations king’s looked high and mighty in the world’s eyes. They probably felt like these nations were prospering more than they were.  They felt like they were missing something! The grass is always greener on the other side. They were wanting to settle for less than what the Lord had for them. So God said OK you want a king like all the other nations. This is what’s going to happen to you. The Lord gave them a King exactly like all the other nations and listed everything that he would do. The Lord tells them you want a new king just like the nations and this is what’s going to happen to you. He goes through a whole list of things that’s going to happen to them and gives them the king that they wanted.
Saul is picked out. He looks good and tall. He’s handsome and probably muscular. I’m sure that Saul was picked out as king because he looked like a lot of the other kings that the nations had. They were all probably big, lofty, muscular and handsome. Isn’t that kind of interesting that we think that all these things are God, but sometimes the Lord might not even be in that big thing. He just might be in that weak person that you might think that’s not worth anything.
Saul was the king that the people wanted and he was full of the fear of man and didn’t obey God. Many times he didn’t do the things that God had called him to do and because of this God told him that his kingdom was over. The Lord was going to anoint a new king, so here’s the story Samuel going to anoint the new king.
Samuel is led by the Lord to go to Jesse’s house to anoint one of his son’s. Of course, Samuel’s mindset was still set on the type of king the other nations had. The Lord told him don’t look at the outward appearance, but look at the heart. He goes through each brother. Each brother the Lord tells him no that’s not the one. He kept asking every time can this be the one. Samuel asked Jesse after he went through all seven of Jesse’s sons and asks Jesse if he has anymore sons and he says that he has another son out there Shepherding the sheep and so David is brought in. I’m sure in everyone’s mind they were thinking this can’t be the one. He was a short good looking kid with a ruddy appearance (which means red hair and freckles). Here’s a young man that the world probably wouldn’t think much of.  I would like to call him a misfit. Even his brothers didn’t think highly of him. After feeding them lunch, they basically told him to go on home.  I can’t prove it, but I don’t even think his brothers believed David killed a lion and bear.  So the Lord raised up a misfit. A red haired freckled boy. A man after His own heart. He would take the foolish things of the world and turn this kid into a King. It sounds like a familiar story to me.

The Misfit's Series

Misfits Series

Part 1

Webster’s Dictionary’s definition for Misfit is a person who does not seem to belong in a particular group or situation.

Acts 4:13 says “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus”. Peter and John had been fishermen before they met Jesus. The Sanhedrin probably looked at them the same way the Pharisee’s looked at Jesus. They said isn’t this the son of a carpenter? Can anything good come out of Nazareth? They were the misfits of their time, but something happened. Jesus comes into their life and their whole world changed. Jesus would spend time with them teaching them and training them. They received the power of the Holy Spirit and prayed for a blind man that gets healed at the gate beautiful. Something was different about these misfits! They were changed from within their heart by the Holy Spirit and power! The Sanhedrin couldn’t refute that because here the man born blind stood there in front of them testifying of Gods goodness! A person with a testimony will always trump the person with an opinion.

I remember helping doing an outreach with some friends a few years ago in Mobile, Alabama. This was a drug rehabilitation center and a Bible School that helps people get free from addiction and eventually for ministry. I can’t remember the person’s name in the picture above, but one of the students at the outreach was wearing a shirt that caught my attention. I was totally drawn to what the shirt said and its meaning. Here was a bunch of people that society had given up on. I’m sure many of them were told that they would never live up to anything and that they were worthless. In this outreach, I was witnessing really a miracle from the Lord. Many of the folks came from all walks of life, but they had one goal to come to the program to be free from what kept them bound for so many years. Little did they know, The Lord was going to take what the Devil meant for evil and turn it around for good (Rom. 8:28). The word was misfits! These precious people who came from all walks of life were now cleaned up by the Lord by His blood and were being trained for the ministry. They were going into areas to help people get free from the same addictions that the Lord had brought them out of. What the world sees as trash, God sees as treasure!  Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart! (1 Sam. 16:7) These Misfits had been with Jesus and are now changing the World one person at a time for the glory of the Lord!
Misfits arise! Let’s go take back the ground the enemy has stolen! It’s time!

Go and Declare's Newsletter October 2018

Go and Declare, Inc. Newsletter
Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Bobby, Dennis and I had an amazing time in Tuscaloosa, AL. We thought our assignment was to evangelize the University of Alabama, but the Lord had other plans. The Lord had us visiting many houses to pray and encourage folks in the body of Christ and to do a major prayer walk at the University. It was OK with me because I absolutely love to pray. The team did have a chance to hand out a few tracts and sow some seed, so I believe the Lord will water it.
Amazing Testimony
This happened in Northport, AL. as we were on our way to Pastor Javine’s sister Emma’s house. Pastor Javine wanted to go to Wal-Mart to save money on gasoline. I went to ask if there was a bathroom and I heard Jimmy talking to the clerk on how he worked all day and he was in pain. I asked to pray for him and he told me he had no feeling in his foot! I lead him to Jesus and Dennis was going to pray for his foot. Jimmy said wait a minute my foot is tingling and I feel heat.  Suddenly he started getting feeling in his foot! Jimmy was amazed and gave glory to Jesus! Praise the Lord Jimmy got healed that day! Jesus YOU are amazing!
Toy Drive Kicked Off!
It was such an honor to share at Tuscaloosa International Prayer Center and kick off our toy drive. The Lord gave me a message on the Call to go Deep. What an amazing time? The Lord gave us a burden to pray for the nations. Bobby and Dennis both had messages, as well and everyone in the church received prayer. We believe the Lord is going to do amazing things in this church and great growth is on the way!  Praise the Lord!
Amazing Testimony in Cumming, Georgia
Bobby, Dennis and I decided to drive up to the Revival in North Georgia and had an amazing time there. We were excited that we were going to see our amazing friends Joel and Pat Crumpton. The next morning we met Joel at the Wild Flower Restaurant in Cumming, Georgia. While we were ordering our food, I started a conversation with our waiter and told him about the Revival. He was very interested. After we were done eating, I really felt in my heart that we were to pray for him and I asked him if he would like to receive prayer. Bro. Joel shared his testimony with him for about 30 minutes and at the end he gave his life to Jesus. Praise Jesus for one more soul written in the lamb’s book of life!

Christmas Trip to Mexico Dec. 12-17, 2018
I’m so excited for our Christmas trip to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico this year. Praise the Lord! The rental truck has already been paid off, so all we have to do is fill it with toys. We hope to have enough toys to bless Pastor Ray Senior's (Casa Hogar Douglass Orphanage) and Pastor Ray Jr's (Salt and Light Ministry), who has a ministry in one of the poorest areas of Nuevo Laredo. The team will be helping Salt and Light Ministries with the Christmas outreach to these precious people. They will be given food bags, toys and candy. We’re also believing for an excess of toys to bless ministries that we are connected with throughout Mexico. These missionaries come to help us with the outreach and we send them back with toys. Last year, we were able to bless missionaries from Monterrey and Chiapas with toys to give away. We are believing for the Lord to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think.
Thank You everyone who has given to our Christmas trips in the past. It’s such a blessing to see the joy on the face of these children when they receive their presents. God Bless you for your faithfulness!
List of things we need prior to Dec. 12, 2018
Finances for Traveling Expenses-We could use help with Traveling Expenses, Rental Vehicle, Hotel and Food Expenses. We would also like to bless the Pastors with a significant love offering because they give so much throughout the year and I’m believing for them to be amazingly blessed this Christmas.
Toys and Candy
Wal-Mart Gift Cards-Wal-Mart gift cards are always a tremendous blessing because we can purchase the things we need for the outreach in Laredo, TX before we enter into Mexico.
Thank You
…for praying and for your generous financial support. You are truly amazing and we know if it weren’t for you there’s no way we could do these things the Lord has called us to do. Your generosity is overwhelming!

Go and Declare's Newsletter for September 2018

Go and Declare, Inc. Newsletter

Healing and Evangelism Encounter Week
The healing and evangelism encounter week was so amazing!  Evangelist Joel Crumpton came to Freedom Church Pensacola for a whole week to equip the saints to pray for the sick and evangelize the lost. We had so many amazing testimonies of folks healed, saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Here’s some testimonies from this amazing week.

Panera Bread Outreach
The Panera Bread Outreach is always amazing! Folks handed out Panera Bread and prayed for folks at Oakwood Terrace. Evangelist Joel Crumpton had an opportunity to share the gospel with the precious children and several of them raised their hands to receive Jesus. Then we played with them and had an awesome game of kick ball. Jesus You are faithful!

Treasure Hunt Ministry
We had many treasure hunt teams going out throughout the week. The Lord did amazing things! Here’s a few testimonies from one of our teams. The team was put together by location. One of our team members Ginger kept getting a clue to go to a Nursing Home on Davis Highway and the word life. Other team members were getting clues to go to that area, as well. I asked Ginger if she could get us in the Nursing Home and she said no. We debated on where to go to lunch before going out on our treasure hunt and we all agreed upon Simply Greek. Well, all of us got Simply Greek and the nursing home was eating there and loading the people back into the bus. We had an opportunity to pray for several of them and I got into the bus to preach. I shared with them that they may feel all alone, but Jesus had never forgotten about them, and that Jesus loves and sent us there to pray for them. Here’s the kicker! The Nursing Home’s name was Life Care Center! We were definitely in the right place at the right time and we had so many divine appointments at Simply Greek we couldn’t leave! Our Lord is amazing!

Children’s Revival and Flea Market Outreach
That Friday night Pastors Travis and Mandy Hill put together an amazing time with the children. Bro. Joel shared a message to equip the children on how to pray for the sick and a demonstration time. Also, he gave an altar call for children to receive Jesus and to receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Several children received Jesus and got the Holy Ghost. The night ended with a prayer tunnel. What a precious night it was!
The next day some of the children came with us for our Flea Market Outreach. It was an amazing day! We had folks healed, give their lives to Jesus and Baptized in the Holy Ghost. The children that came were amazing! They were praying for the sick and the pain in folks would disappear. A couple folks even walked away not even needing their walkers. Our Lord gets all of the glory!

Excited about our Fall Schedule!
The dates are starting to come in for our fall schedule. I’ll be at Tuscaloosa International Prayer Center on September 28-30, 2018 we’ll be kicking off our toy drive for the Toys for Mexico. It’s going to be amazing!
On Oct. 6th the Panera Bread Outreach goes on the road. Our friend Alma has put together an outreach and some of the team will be going up there to participate. It’s going to be awesome!
Nov. 1st, 2018 I will be stopping in to see my precious family at House of Refuge Church in Carriere, Mississippi. This Church is on fire and I can’t wait to see what the Lord is going to do!
Nov. 2-4, 2018 I will be in several places in the Houston area. My mentor Bro. Bert Farias will be in town and I’m looking forward to reconnecting with him and the Pastors in the area. It’s going to be amazing!
I’m so excited that on Nov. 5th, 2018 that I have an opportunity to go up to Lindale, TX to be a part of a one-night event of prayer and sharing at the Ravenhill House. Can’t wait to finally be reconnecting with our friends Levi and Ashley Lutz and the Harvest House team. I believe it’s going to awesome!

Last but not least
I am so excited about this! I had a dream last year that Daniel Kolenda called me on my cell-phone and I got up from the dream saying that’s never going to happen. I put the dream on the shelf. A couple weekends ago, I went to Daniel Norris’s Church in Tampa and he introduced me to a couple evangelists that were going on a trip to prepare for one of Daniel’s crusades. They told me that I should apply to Daniel’s School of Evangelism and maybe come on one of their trips. I came home and prayed. I started thinking about the dream and thought that maybe this was the interpretation to the dream I had. I really felt compelled to apply. May the Lord’s will be done!

Go and Declare, Inc. Newsletter

Pensacola, Florida

Brownsville Assembly of God Outreach
Missionary Richard Davis came to visit us, and we had an amazing opportunity to share at the Brownsville Assembly of God’s outreach. Here’s a picture of the amazing team. Pastor Dennis and the team at Brownsville Assembly reaches out to the poor every Monday and Wednesday. The Lord moved powerfully! We had several folks come to the altar to give their lives to Jesus! All the glory goes to the Lord!
Panera Bread Outreach
The Panera Bread Outreach was so awesome! The team was so amazing with the children! They were so blessed! I remember telling this little boy that we had to go home, and he told me no you ain’t! Broke my heart!
Aviana
This precious little girl is Aviana! I looked at her and said I loved her. I asked her if she knew why I loved her. She asked why? I said because Jesus first loved me and because I have the love of Jesus in my heart I love her. She agreed and then ran off! The Lord Jesus loves these children!

Youth Reach Team

It was amazing to have the youth reach team come out and help us again with our Panera Bread Outreach! These guys spent most of their time playing games with the precious children in the park. Most of the children have no father figure in their home, so the children loved having the guys carry them around on their backs and shoulders. I could totally feel the compassion of Jesus for these children. Can’t wait for the next time we get to be with them!

Late Summer, Fall & Winter Schedule
So excited for our late summer, fall and winter schedule. We have Evangelist Joel Crumpton coming into Pensacola for a whole week of power evangelism equipping and hitting the streets in early August at Freedom Church.  I will be heading out soon to visit my Mom. She had to have back surgery and I will be visiting my friends that took a Pastor position in Tampa, Daniel & Jenna Norris.
I will be heading out to Tuscaloosa, Alabama probably sometime in September and in October I’m scheduled to take part in a Panera Bread Outreach in Monroeville, AL.
Then in Oct. I’m planning on visiting the Fire Missions Conference this year in Charlotte, NC.
In Nov. I plan on reconnecting with my mentor Bro. Bert Farias in Houston, TX. I haven’t seen him in a long time! Totally excited! I already started raising funds for our Christmas trip to Mexico. I believe the Lord is going to provide for our 16-foot truck and totally fill it to the top this year. Expecting major things! We’re believing for toys to do outreaches in Nuevo Laredo and Monterrey! Our Lord Jesus is faithful!
2019 Schedule
I’m so excited that the Lord is leading me into more nations next year. I have to raise more funds than ever before. So far, I have some countries on my heart. Africa, Nepal, Mexico, India and China. I’m totally excited to be going with Pastor Javine and a team to Kenya and Tanzania in March 2019 and I’m praying about a trip to Nepal possibly in the Fall of 2019. Can’t wait!

Go and Declare's July Newsletter 2018

Go and Declare, Inc. Newsletter

Pensacola, Florida
The Lord continues to do amazing things in Pensacola. We are seeing folks give their lives to Jesus, baptized in the Holy Ghost and healed.  Here’s some testimonies from the Panera Bread and Flea Market Ministries.

Panera Bread Ministry
This little girl touched my heart! Barbara Hogan taught the precious children and they were given journals to write down what God says about them! Jenai came to me and asked me if I would sign hers! Totally broke my heart! Love this precious girl! I can’t wait to see them again!

Flea Market Ministry
This testimony is amazing! My wife Tami asked me if I could smell perfume. I said no and asked her if she was wearing any. She said no and that the Holy Spirit is here. Right after that Roy came to our booth broken and crying asking for prayer. He told us that he had lost everything. Joe, Tami and I got to minister to him, lead him back to Jesus and he received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. All the glory goes to King Jesus!

Pastor John Walker Jr. and Dorn Wheatley Walker came, and we had some divine appointments with them, as well! I remember resting and being called over to pray for healing for this man. He had braces on his legs. The man said that he was feeling the Lord touching his legs! I went over to help them pray and Coral helped us, as well! I remember him being startled and screaming because God’s power kept going thru his legs! God is awesome! I believe he’s totally healed!

This testimony was awesome! We were worshiping, and we had a gentleman stop at the booth across from us. Bro. Dennis Godwin went to minister to him and called me over. He was from Honduras and knew no English. Several tried to minister to him but couldn’t communicate with him. Dennis asked me about the Church All Nations House of Prayer and we tried to look it up on line to connect the man. Here’s the kicker: around 15 minutes later the Lord would send us someone from that church to minister to him! He’s connected to the church now and will be going to their church! They decided to hang out with us to minister to more people! The Kingdom is being populated! Praise the Lord!

Upcoming Trips

I am so excited at what the Lord is doing in Pensacola and we will continue to plow the ground here. Also, I’m planning trips to Tuscaloosa, Tennessee and I’m going to the Missions Conference in North Carolina this year. I will be connecting with my friend Pastor Lawrence Mbugua from Kenya there.  On my Birthday, I plan on reconnecting with our awesome mentors Bert Farias and Carolyn Farias in Houston and Vidor, TX. Excited to be re-connecting with my awesome friends who are now Pastors in Tampa: Pastors Daniel and Jenna Norris. I believe our next Christmas trip to Mexico is going to be off the chain! I’m planning on having a superabundance of toys and hoping to help with two outreaches. One in Nuevo Laredo and One in Monterrey. In 2019 I start going into more Nations! It starts in March-Kenya and Tanzania!
