Go and Declare's November Newsletter

Christmas Trip to Mexico Dec. 12-17, 2018
I’m so excited for our Christmas trip to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico this year. Praise the Lord! The rental truck has already been paid off, so all we have to do is fill it with toys. We hope to have enough toys to bless Pastor Ray Senior's (Casa Hogar Douglass Orphanage) and Pastor Ray Jr's (Salt and Light Ministry), who has a ministry in one of the poorest areas of Nuevo Laredo. The team will be helping Salt and Light Ministries with the Christmas outreach to these precious people. They will be given food bags, toys and candy. We’re also believing for an excess of toys to bless ministries that we are connected with throughout Mexico. These missionaries come to help us with the outreach and we send them back with toys. Last year, we were able to bless missionaries from Monterrey and Chiapas with toys to give away. We believe the Lord will do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think.
Thank You everyone who has given to our Christmas trips in the past. It’s such a blessing to see the joy on the face of these children when they receive their presents. God Bless you for your faithfulness!

Because I want You to Remember

I have been interested in Meridian, Mississippi ever since I heard that Maria Woodworth Etter used to hold camp meetings there. I heard about all the miracles that have happened in her ministry, especially people falling into trances. One of my favorite traits about her is that she was one of the only ministers that moved in all nine gifts of the Holy Ghost. I started to hunger and pray for this in my own life. I went with a Christmas trip several years ago to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and upon our return we stopped in Meridian, Mississippi to get some gas and use the bathroom. I was filled with a lot of zeal after being on a fruitful mission’s trip. I prayed a bold prayer in the bathroom. I asked the Lord to let me move in all nine gifts of the Holy Ghost, just like Maria did. I said that to the Lord that He was no respecter of persons and that I should be able to move in all nine gifts, as well. I was taken back by His response. He asked me this question, but are you willing to pay the price to use them. I felt like I received a spanking, but I knew that I hadn’t paid the price. I knew what He was talking about. Was I willing to let the Holy Ghost have complete control of my life? Was I willing to pay the price in prayer and fasting? Was I willing to be obedient to everything the Lord would ask me to do? We talk a good game, but really, we want everything fast and quick. We want to just pray a few minutes and have the power gifts immediately. I repented, and I have started to seek Him concerning these things. Since that time, I am always drawn to stop in Meridian to pray and seek the Lord.

In February 2016, I was drawn to stop and pray in Meridian, Miss. I drove through the city listening for what the Lord wanted me to pray. I stopped at this huge church called Evangel and prayed for the city of Meridian. I prayed for the Lord to pour out His spirit again in Meridian and America and I went on my way to minister in Tuscaloosa.

In May of 2016, I was drawn again to stop and pray in Meridian. This time I went around and asked folks if they remembered what had happened in the late 1800’s in their city. I even went to the Library and asked the clerk about Maria Woodworth Etter. Nobody in the library could give me any information about her. I walked back to my car and prayed. I asked the Lord why do you keep bringing me back to this city. He spoke to my heart and said because I want you to remember. He said for me to pray for revival for America and to ask for Him to do it again in the city and He gave me two scriptures.

Is. 58:12-Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

Jer. 6:16-Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

I was directed to pray these scriptures and pray for the Lord to restore the old paths. Just like the enemy has taken all of the history of Maria Woodworth Etter from Meridian, he has been trying to take away any remembrance of the Lord out of our society. Prayer taken out of our schools and the Ten Commandments out of our judicial building. He has been taken out of all of our history books and being replaced with a more secular view. Liberals are refusing to say One Nation under God in our Pledge of Allegiance and they will not stop until it’s totally taken out. I remember that Iraq once was a Christian nation many years, ago. Could this happen to America? It most definitely can at the rate we are going if we don’t stand up and fight. We must fight in prayer and fasting. We must become all that we are in Christ. Will we pay the price?

In conclusion, I’m asking the question that the Lord asked me in Meridian, Mississippi last year during the Christmas season. The question is, will you pay the price? One of my favorite ministers was Kathryn Kuhlman. I love watching the videos of her on You Tube. She was used mightily by the Lord in miracles, signs and wonders, but there was one thing she would always say. She would say that we could do the same works that she did, if we would only pay the price. You see friends we are not saved to just go to heaven. Yes, we get to go to heaven, but if He saved us to just go to heaven He would have taken us when we were born again. We are saved for a purpose and that’s to populate the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Misfit's Series

The Lord looks at the heart

1 Sam. 16: 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
In order to understand 1 Sam. 16:7, we have to go back to 1 Sam. 8 when Israel demanded a King. When Samuel was Judge over Israel at the time and his sons were going to take over his place when he died. Samuel’s sons did not follow in the ways of the Lord. The elders were not happy with Samuel’s son’s leadership and asked Samuel to give them a king just like all the other nations. They must have looked at what the other nations had and what they didn’t have. The other nations lifted up there king and I’m sure the other nations king’s looked high and mighty in the world’s eyes. They probably felt like these nations were prospering more than they were.  They felt like they were missing something! The grass is always greener on the other side. They were wanting to settle for less than what the Lord had for them. So God said OK you want a king like all the other nations. This is what’s going to happen to you. The Lord gave them a King exactly like all the other nations and listed everything that he would do. The Lord tells them you want a new king just like the nations and this is what’s going to happen to you. He goes through a whole list of things that’s going to happen to them and gives them the king that they wanted.
Saul is picked out. He looks good and tall. He’s handsome and probably muscular. I’m sure that Saul was picked out as king because he looked like a lot of the other kings that the nations had. They were all probably big, lofty, muscular and handsome. Isn’t that kind of interesting that we think that all these things are God, but sometimes the Lord might not even be in that big thing. He just might be in that weak person that you might think that’s not worth anything.
Saul was the king that the people wanted and he was full of the fear of man and didn’t obey God. Many times he didn’t do the things that God had called him to do and because of this God told him that his kingdom was over. The Lord was going to anoint a new king, so here’s the story Samuel going to anoint the new king.
Samuel is led by the Lord to go to Jesse’s house to anoint one of his son’s. Of course, Samuel’s mindset was still set on the type of king the other nations had. The Lord told him don’t look at the outward appearance, but look at the heart. He goes through each brother. Each brother the Lord tells him no that’s not the one. He kept asking every time can this be the one. Samuel asked Jesse after he went through all seven of Jesse’s sons and asks Jesse if he has anymore sons and he says that he has another son out there Shepherding the sheep and so David is brought in. I’m sure in everyone’s mind they were thinking this can’t be the one. He was a short good looking kid with a ruddy appearance (which means red hair and freckles). Here’s a young man that the world probably wouldn’t think much of.  I would like to call him a misfit. Even his brothers didn’t think highly of him. After feeding them lunch, they basically told him to go on home.  I can’t prove it, but I don’t even think his brothers believed David killed a lion and bear.  So the Lord raised up a misfit. A red haired freckled boy. A man after His own heart. He would take the foolish things of the world and turn this kid into a King. It sounds like a familiar story to me.

The Misfit's Series

Misfits Series

Part 1

Webster’s Dictionary’s definition for Misfit is a person who does not seem to belong in a particular group or situation.

Acts 4:13 says “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus”. Peter and John had been fishermen before they met Jesus. The Sanhedrin probably looked at them the same way the Pharisee’s looked at Jesus. They said isn’t this the son of a carpenter? Can anything good come out of Nazareth? They were the misfits of their time, but something happened. Jesus comes into their life and their whole world changed. Jesus would spend time with them teaching them and training them. They received the power of the Holy Spirit and prayed for a blind man that gets healed at the gate beautiful. Something was different about these misfits! They were changed from within their heart by the Holy Spirit and power! The Sanhedrin couldn’t refute that because here the man born blind stood there in front of them testifying of Gods goodness! A person with a testimony will always trump the person with an opinion.

I remember helping doing an outreach with some friends a few years ago in Mobile, Alabama. This was a drug rehabilitation center and a Bible School that helps people get free from addiction and eventually for ministry. I can’t remember the person’s name in the picture above, but one of the students at the outreach was wearing a shirt that caught my attention. I was totally drawn to what the shirt said and its meaning. Here was a bunch of people that society had given up on. I’m sure many of them were told that they would never live up to anything and that they were worthless. In this outreach, I was witnessing really a miracle from the Lord. Many of the folks came from all walks of life, but they had one goal to come to the program to be free from what kept them bound for so many years. Little did they know, The Lord was going to take what the Devil meant for evil and turn it around for good (Rom. 8:28). The word was misfits! These precious people who came from all walks of life were now cleaned up by the Lord by His blood and were being trained for the ministry. They were going into areas to help people get free from the same addictions that the Lord had brought them out of. What the world sees as trash, God sees as treasure!  Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart! (1 Sam. 16:7) These Misfits had been with Jesus and are now changing the World one person at a time for the glory of the Lord!
Misfits arise! Let’s go take back the ground the enemy has stolen! It’s time!

Go and Declare's Newsletter October 2018

Go and Declare, Inc. Newsletter
Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Bobby, Dennis and I had an amazing time in Tuscaloosa, AL. We thought our assignment was to evangelize the University of Alabama, but the Lord had other plans. The Lord had us visiting many houses to pray and encourage folks in the body of Christ and to do a major prayer walk at the University. It was OK with me because I absolutely love to pray. The team did have a chance to hand out a few tracts and sow some seed, so I believe the Lord will water it.
Amazing Testimony
This happened in Northport, AL. as we were on our way to Pastor Javine’s sister Emma’s house. Pastor Javine wanted to go to Wal-Mart to save money on gasoline. I went to ask if there was a bathroom and I heard Jimmy talking to the clerk on how he worked all day and he was in pain. I asked to pray for him and he told me he had no feeling in his foot! I lead him to Jesus and Dennis was going to pray for his foot. Jimmy said wait a minute my foot is tingling and I feel heat.  Suddenly he started getting feeling in his foot! Jimmy was amazed and gave glory to Jesus! Praise the Lord Jimmy got healed that day! Jesus YOU are amazing!
Toy Drive Kicked Off!
It was such an honor to share at Tuscaloosa International Prayer Center and kick off our toy drive. The Lord gave me a message on the Call to go Deep. What an amazing time? The Lord gave us a burden to pray for the nations. Bobby and Dennis both had messages, as well and everyone in the church received prayer. We believe the Lord is going to do amazing things in this church and great growth is on the way!  Praise the Lord!
Amazing Testimony in Cumming, Georgia
Bobby, Dennis and I decided to drive up to the Revival in North Georgia and had an amazing time there. We were excited that we were going to see our amazing friends Joel and Pat Crumpton. The next morning we met Joel at the Wild Flower Restaurant in Cumming, Georgia. While we were ordering our food, I started a conversation with our waiter and told him about the Revival. He was very interested. After we were done eating, I really felt in my heart that we were to pray for him and I asked him if he would like to receive prayer. Bro. Joel shared his testimony with him for about 30 minutes and at the end he gave his life to Jesus. Praise Jesus for one more soul written in the lamb’s book of life!
