The Day Rudy Waters died to Himself

 

This was an incredibly special day! I believe the Lord had knew that he had burned all the desire for ministry and the pulpit out of me. I was content with serving my wife and the precious 3-5-year-old children that we had served all these years. I had no desire for pulpit ministry. He had burned it all out of me. I believe He knew now I was ready to not take any glory for myself. He was about to change my life forever. That evening one of mentors a man we looked up to had gone to be with the Lord. I had heard him preach probably hundreds of times. He was now in the arms of Jesus! I was in my son’s room praying and news came in that Steve Hill the evangelist of the Brownsville Revival had died. Suddenly it struck my heart, that I was not doing what the Lord had called me to do. I was finishing up with my last semester of college pursuing a business degree. I had no idea that ministers from all over the world were doing the same thing. Ministers were being gripped with repentance. I got on my face and cried out in repentance. Screaming I am sorry Lord for being so distracted there are souls out to there to be reached. I will never forget His still small voice speaking to me, asking me this question. Would you be satisfied with my presence and go to the streets to reach the lost? I said I would and have not looked back. I got on the cross that day, died to myself and the Lord resurrected me with newness of life! The Holy Spirit has been with me every step of the way. Praise the Lord for Him giving me another chance! He is the God of many chances! I thank the Lord for His mercy!

Friendship and Dyersberg, Tennessee

Wow! John and I had  an amazing time in Tennessee. We were invited to come to a Minister’s Conference and do some evangelism in the area by Apostle Frost at Emmanuel Christian Fellowship. We had a chance to carry the cross at a park in Dyersberg with Jacob Laster. The Lord did a quick work and we walked into a divine appointment with a precious lady who had a Trump shirt on. The Lord gave us all kinds of words of knowledge for her. Here’s her testimony! “I met these 3 gentlemen at the Dyersburg park today and they all 3 prayed for me. so blessed divine appointment. God will find you wherever you are.”

Ministers Conference at Emmanuel Christian Fellowship

Such a powerful time at the Ministers conference in Friendship. Apostle Frost had given Richard and I some time to share that Saturday Morning. The Lord had woke me up at 3:00am the night before with a heart for the nations. It turned out that Apostle Frost and Pastor Javine were awakened by the Holy Ghost with the same burden. The Lord had me share on God’s heart for the nations and how many folks from the church would be sent out. I had no idea that my friend Jacob would come up after me and share his heart about going to Japan. Our Jesus loves the nations!

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Tuscaloosa was Amazing! We had a back to school outreach in west end on Pastor Javine’s property. School supplies, back packs and snacks were given out. We also held a raffle for special gifts. We had two sessions of the gospel being preached. The crowd was so hungry to hear the word of God that they stayed for both sessions. Nicole Segars came in as well to share her testimony. The people were really blessed to hear her. Everyone was captivated by her testimony. Several  responded to receive the Lord and to forgive folks that had hurt them in the past. Jesus did an amazing work that day. All glory goes to King Jesus!

Pensacola, Florida Cross Carrying Outreach Testimony

The Lord really loves Mike! We ran into him in downtown Pensacola carrying the cross and Jesus loved on him! He opened his heart to us about his hurts, regrets and had a lot of unforgiveness in his heart! Through prayer and repentance Jesus was pulling a lot of stuff out of him and healing him! I love the gospel of John Tami gave him that says, “You are Not Forgotten!”



Excited for the Fall Season

Atlanta and Dawsonville, Georgia

The Fall Season is getting busy. Looks like doors are opening for me to travel more. I will be with my mentor Joel Crumpton in Atlanta starting Sept. 12^th for a cross carrying outreach to downtown Atlanta and then I will be to staying for a Pastors and Leaders Conference at the North Georgia Revival. Then I will stay to help Joel’s team with a homeless outreach in downtown Atlanta on Sept. 16^th.  
Laredo, Texas

Excited to be going on a Scout Trip to Laredo, Texas on Sept.29^th. Pastors Ray and Lisa Rendon have been involved with helping Laredo Stepping Stone since the Virus hit and shut down the border in Mexico! The team there has given out thousands of pounds of food every week. The needs are huge there! Excited to go and help!

Charlotte, North Carolina Fire Missions Conference and Outreach


Every year when this conference comes around its always been on my heart to go, so I am making plans to attend this time in Oct. I will be bringing the big cross with me when I go. I have learned so much from the leaders at Fire when they were here in Pensacola and I am excited to be seeing everyone.

Friendship, Tennessee Fall Ministers Conference and Outreach

This is so exciting to be asked to come back to Friendship, Tennessee to be part of this fall Conference. This time we plan on doing a teaching session on a Treasure Hunt and going to the local Mall with our clues from the Holy Ghost. Treasure Hunts are my favorite and the Lord always sets us up with divine appointments. Its so much fun!

Thank You Guys so much for your prayers and financial support. I am blown away at all of the things the Lord has done, and you guys are a huge part of it! I Thank the Lord for you guys and pray a huge blessing to come your way during these really hard times. We have found that these hard times have been a great opportunity to share the good news of Jesus! People all around the US are soul searching and the Lord has put us in places all over the US to help bring in the harvest. All the glory goes to King Jesus! Rapid City, South Dakota

The Bible says in Matt. 10:7 As you go, preach saying, the kingdom of heaven has come near you. Our goal was while we traveled in these states that we would bring the kingdom of heaven wherever we went. We had our rental car filled with bottled water and food bags to give out as the Lord lead. We came across these precious homeless folks in Rapid City. We blessed them with food, prayed for them and one of them needed healing on his arm. We declared healing in Jesus Name. The funny part was a police officer showed up thinking that I was starting a fight because I get loud when I pray. I turned around and blessed the officer thanking her for her service to the community. It was an awesome time!
Mount Rushmore, South Dakota
This was one of our family’s highlights. For us to see Mount Rushmore just a few days after the President was there was special. I knew that the Lord was sending us there for a specific prayer assignment. I am crying now as I write this. Immediately, the burden to pray for our nation came on me. I went live on Facebook to pray for Revival and I could sense others around me engaging in prayer as I prayed for our nation. We need Revival and Awakening again in our nation guys and I believe we are in the beginning stages. As I got off the livestream, I had a man come up to me with tears in his eyes tap me on the shoulder thanking me for praying. It was priceless!
Idaho Falls, Idaho
To be honest, I was a little upset about going to Idaho Falls. I thought I made a huge mistake by booking a hotel in Idaho Falls. We had to drive an extra 3 hours out of our way to get there. We were exhausted when we arrived. The Lord was setting us up. When we pulled into our hotel a man was being arrested. I thought Oh Lord this looks like a horrible hotel, but right after that we had a chance to minister to this man’s girlfriend. We prayed, counseled, shared the gospel, and blessed her with a couple bags of food. The Lord loves her!
Jake and the Homeless Mission

This by far was our greatest divine appointment for the trip. We had several food bags left over and we were praying where to give them away. Immediately, Tami said do you think there is a mission close by. I looked it up in my maps app and there was one less than a mile away, so we decided to stop by. I rang the bell and Jake answered the door. He took all our food bags for the folks at mission and let us pray for him.

We started going back to the car and a lady called out to us. She was the lady we prayed for the night before, so we prayed for her and while we were praying for her Jake came out. He said that the Lord touched him while we prayed for him and that he was so hungry for God. We talked to him about receiving the power of the Holy Ghost and his prayer language. He was hungry to receive, so we prayed for him. He immediately received! The Lord powerfully touched him right there. We are still in communication with Jake and discipling him over the phone. God has a huge plan for him. Praise the Lord!
God’s Ten Commandments and Visiting with our friends

We had an amazing time visiting with the Neubauer’s in Montana. We have known Mike all the way back to our Bible School days here in Pensacola and we had an awesome time with them visiting Glacier National Park, Hungry Horse Dam and in the picture to the right God’s Ten Commandments. God’s Ten Commandments was a highlight. This amazing ministry helps the body of Christ get the word of God out all over the world. It is an amazing evangelistic ministry. We plan on getting some evangelistic tools from them in the future!
Testimony at Glacier National Park

As I was looking for my son and his friend in Glacier National Park! I was concerned about my son and his friend being lost in an area with Grizzly Bears. While walking down the path a gentleman walks by me and a lady is approaching me. Suddenly she stumbles over a rock and plunges over the cliff hitting a tree. I frantically grabbed her hand and arm to try and keep her from falling around 25 to 50 feet down the cliff. She starts screaming for her husband to come help and we pulled her to safety! The Lord had me in the right place at the right time to help save this precious lady! Jesus saved us at the right place at the right time! We must reach out and take His hand! He is always ready to pull us to safety! Praise the Lord! My son and his friend were never lost. As a matter of fact, it was a mix up. I missed them coming back into the parking lot and I went into the path looking for them. It was a divine set up to save that precious women.

Upcoming Trips

Excited to be heading out soon for Friendship, TN for the Missions Conference, and Outreach. The following weekend I will be in Tuscaloosa to help with a back to school outreach and we are planning a trip to Laredo, TX in October near the Mexico border. Believing for the border to open soon.

Wow! This is so amazing! I am so amazed at all the things the Lord did this past month! I will probably have to put some things in the next newsletter. Jesus is on the move! Here are some highlights of the month of June!

Pensacola, Florida Grocery Outlet Outreach


The team was led to take the Subway Sandwich Outreach to the Grocery Outlet Parking Lot. Many folks received sub sandwiches, produce and prayer. Several folks came to the Lord that day and were baptized in the Holy Ghost. It was amazing we had a gentlemen’s back healed as well and he came back to share his testimony. I will be sharing about him in the next segment. Jesus is amazing!

Albert

Albert was the gentleman that I talked about who was healed at the grocery outlet. Albert   away, but he said he heard a voice telling him to go to the Grocery Outlet that day. We showed up with his tent and had an opportunity to pray for him. The Lord did something amazing!

Albert’s leg healed

It was amazing! Albert started showing us his leg and how swollen it was. It turned out that he was in an accident with a car. We started to pray for him. He said the pain had started going away and then he was ecstatic! He looked down and the swelling in his leg had started going down! It was amazing to see it! The swelling had gone down to nothing and he was pain free. Albert in just a few days gave his life to Jesus, got baptized in the Holy Ghost and was healed. Our Jesus is Amazing!

Rusk, Texas

It was such an honor to be with the Harvest House guys for several days. I had the opportunity to preach on Monday Night. The Lord had me share on the Holy Ghost! It was amazing to see the lights go on in their hearts as I shared with them how to receive. Several came up to receive. The Lord touched all of them that came. I had one gentleman come up to me after the meeting and asked me if he could pray this way all the time and I said absolutely. He was ecstatic to receive his prayer

language. Praise to King Jesus!

Homeless Outreach in Dallas, Texas

It was so amazing to be part of this amazing homeless outreach with Danny Powell and a couple  disciples from the Harvest House. We put together goodie bags and water. Also, Bro. Marty gave us sleeping mats to hand out while we were there. Here’s a couple testimonies from the outreach. Jesus was on the move!

Homeless Man touched

We had brought out sleeping mats made from precious ladies who knitted them from old shopping bags. As soon as Danny handed him one this precious man broke down and cried! He was so happy to receive one! Touched our hearts! Now I am looking at purchasing mats to bless the homeless!

Ladies from Cameroon

The team had an amazing encounter with these two ladies from Cameroon. We gave them food bags and water. The Lord had me pray for one of the ladies to be healed. She was talking in Swahili. The other lady interpreted for her. She was asking if we would pray for them to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Danny prayed and the presence of God showed up. The Lord touched these precious ladies. It was a divine moment for them and for us. Jesus is so good!

South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana

Our family has an opportunity to take a trip to these States. We will be traveling to visit a couple of our friends and ministering some on the way. Also, to have some sightseeing time. We have a heart to minister as we go. Our heart is to make up bags of food, water and maybe some tents to pass out to the poor and homeless while we travel. We’re excited to visit with our ministry friend and his family that we know from Brownsville Revival School of Ministry days in Montana. Also, we have an opportunity to go pray for one of the teams helping the Senator Steve Daines in Montana get reelected. It is an important election! Please pray for him!

I am totally excited to be invited to be part of this amazing conference Aug. 6^th-8^th. There will be folks coming in from all over to share. It is always exciting to hear what the Lord is doing all over the world. Glory to Jesus! Were also planning to hit the streets to share the gospel, as well. Praise Jesus!

Were planning a bigger outreach in Dallas in the future and more ministry coming up in the fall. We are still working on Costa Rica as well. Just waiting for the timing to be able to fly in. Wow! May was such an amazing month. The Lord has done so many amazing things. I was just telling a friend how we have not stopped reaching out since the Pandemic broke out. The Lord has been keeping us very busy. Here’s testimonies from Tuscaloosa and Pensacola!

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

The Tuscaloosa trip was powerful! We had an awesome time of prayer under the tent on Friday Night and then had an outreach to the community in West End. Several of us stood out there with signs saying free food, toys, and gift card raffle. We had several people stop and they came in two waves, so we had to have two gift raffles. We had two services and it was powerful. Several folks gave their lives to the Lord that day. All glory goes to King Jesus! 

This was so Amazing! I was just about to get into the car and start driving home from the Tuscaloosa Outreach. Tony brought us BJ to pray for him! We had had a chance to pray for him and share the gospel! BJ gave his life to Jesus and he felt a weight come off his shoulders! His sin was washed away by the blood of Jesus! Praise the Lord! He was given a Reinhard Bonnke book and his contact information was given to Pastor Javine to be baptized in water. What an Amazing trip this was! Jesus is alive!

Pensacola, Florida Homeless Outreaches

We continue to partner with Jon and Hayley Klover in homeless ministry here in Pensacola. We have been visiting many of them every week and feeding them. Its been such an honor. You can feel the Lord’s heart all over this. Many of the homeless have been forgotten during this time. In the picture to the right, we got a phone call from Jon asking if we could bring Charles a tent. He had just been newly homeless and had no covering. Tami and I jumped right on it and brought him one. It was an honor to visit with him and pray for him. Jesus loves him. Thanks to all the folks that have sown into Go and Declare to buy tents. Its been such a blessing to bring these folks tents. Its been raining a lot lately and it gives these precious folks some covering. All glory to Jesus!

Pensacola, Florida Plasma Center Outreaches

The Lord has been doing so many amazing things in the parking lot across from the Plasma Center. There are so many hurting people. Here’s a couple testimonies!

In the picture to the left, one of these precious guys stopped and we gave him a lunch! Pastor John and Warren started ministering to him. His brother was driving in the parking lot, sees his brother and jumps out of his truck! Both guys accepted the Lord and got the Holy Ghost! Jesus is Amazing!


This precious girl was one of the first people we prayed for at the Plasma Center on Saturday. We asked if we could give her a lunch and pray for her. She immediately hollered yes; I need prayer. Once we started praying for her, she broke down and started crying. She shared how she was homeless and how she was there giving plasma to survive. The Lord really touched her! She gave her life to the Lord and got filled with the Holy Ghost! The Lord Jesus poured out His love on her! Pastor John Walker from Walls of Salvation was there with us and we took down her information for him to follow up with her. She is so precious please pray for her!

Rusk, Texas June 15^th-20th

I am excited to be traveling to Rusk, Texas June 15th to take part in outreaches with the Harvest House Team! We will be Carrying the Cross, Street Preaching and Visiting Homeless Camps! Praise Jesus all the traveling and lodging expenses have been paid for. Believe with me for finances to come in to help fund some of the outreach expenses. This is an Awesome Opportunity! I believe the Lord is going to do some amazing things! He is faithful!

Friendship, Tennessee Missions Conference

We keep having to shift the dates for the Costa Rica trip. Its all in God’s hands right now. I was just chatting with Frank and we have set another target date. August 14^th-24^th. I cannot wait! I miss my family in the mountains!

Cross Ministry Abortion Clinic Pensacola, FL

I was carrying the cross at several parts of the city of Pensacola on what most of the Church call Good Friday. A lot of us celebrate the Lord Jesus dieing on the Cross on that day. I was at many spots, preached and fed a homeless man. Getting back to the car the Lord compelled me to find out where the abortion clinic was. I looked it up on my GPS and drove there. The Lord had me stand in front of the building with the cross. I could feel the Lord’s heart breaking for what was going on inside. In the picture to the right, the Lord had me intercede for everyone involved. The men, women, babies, nurses, doctors and the security guards. I could sense that the atmosphere had shifted. I saw a young African American girl on a bench broken in tears. Right after, one of the nurses came out to try and get rid of us, but we continued to pray. The Lord is broken for everyone involved. He loves them all!

Cross Ministry Fairfield & Pace Pensacola, FL

While walking the cross in the picture to the left, we came across Glenn. He gave his heart to the Lord and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We then prayed for him to be healed from leukemia. Praise Jesus!

In the picture to the right is Micky. The enemy was really mad at us through him while we were ministering Glenn. He was telling us to go away and he had an Eastern Religions background and actually threatened Warren with a gun. Later he came back, apologized and we had a chance to pray for him. Warren talked to him about the Holy Ghost and he did not like that too much and decided to leave! My heart goes out to him! Jesus loves him! Breaks my heart!

Ministry at the Plasma Center Pensacola, FL

I had an Awesome time helping Warren and his friend Len with an outreach at the Plasma Center! Many folks are out of work because of the virus and their giving plasma to bring in finances.  We stood outside and gave people Subway Sandwiches as they came out. The Lord touched many folks that day.  Hearts are open to receive the gospel. I know we had a few folks come to Jesus and Warren lead a couple folks into the Baptism of the Holy Ghost! The precious man in the picture to the left gave his heart to Jesus and got the Holy Ghost! All glory to King Jesus!

Homeless Outreach Testimonies Pensacola, FL

It’s so amazing that were getting relationships with these precious folks in need on the streets of Pensacola. In the picture to the right is David. David has been needing healing for a skin condition for several weeks. The team prayed for him. I ran into him a couple days later and he told me that the skin condition has started clearing up. Praise God!

Praise Jesus! It has been so amazing to see their happy faces when they receive a tent. The Lord has been faithful to provide tents for some of the homeless in Pensacola. Many of the shelters are shut down and this provides them a covering.  Most of them just sleep on the ground. Thank You guys so much for your donations to help meet the needs of these precious people. Jesus is smiling!

Worship Time with the homeless

Wow! What a powerful time it was loving on the homeless! We kind of had a first-fruits of what we have been praying for once things start getting freed up to have bigger meetings. The Lord used our friend Rob Benson to lead worship in an area that the Lord has highlighted! The atmosphere shifted! The Lord loved on these precious folks! One of them was Keith! He was broken before the Lord! It was amazing to see! Keith in the picture to the right rededicated his life to Jesus and forgave folks that had hurt him in the past! All Praise to King Jesus!

Trips coming up

We had some trips canceled due to the Corona Virus, but we just added Tuscaloosa. I will be heading out there the weekend of May 8^th and 9^th to be part of a team to do some evangelism training and an outreach. Excited to see all of our family in Tuscaloosa!

Costa Rica

The Costa Rica trip is still on. We are just waiting for the international flights to open back up to fly there. We will then set up a date in the summer once things open back up. Alex Miguez and her daughter are now on the team to come. It’s going to be amazing! We still could use some financing for the trip. We will be taking supplies to the extremely poor people in the mountains. I cannot wait to see them.

Go and Declare's Newsletter for April 2020

March started out so amazing having our mentors Bro. Bert and Sis. Carolyn Farias here in Pensacola and in Tuscaloosa. After that we have had some challenges with the Corona Virus situation going on. We still had an amazing month with family, and I got to get out to share some with the homeless in Pensacola. The Lord has really put them on my heart. Here is a couple pictures and some testimonies from the Outreach and some other outreaches that we helped with in Pensacola!

Homeless Outreach in Pensacola

It was such an honor to serve with Jon and Hayley Klover and Jonathan and Sarah Liechty with an outreach to the homeless in Pensacola. We brought them a home cooked meal and hygiene bags.

We loved hearing their stories and we were able to pray with them and share the good news. Cindy to the right gave her life to Jesus. Praise the Lord!  She is precious please pray for her!

 Pensacola Beach 3-14 Beach Outreach

Tami and I helped serve the Prayer Tent at the Pensacola Beach Outreach. It was a beautiful day and folks were enjoying the sun. We were passing out free drinks, free tracts and free prayer. We had this precious girl come up to us and ask us to prayer for her. She had just given her life to Jesus and she wanted prayer for deliverance. Adam came over to help us pray. We prayed for her to be free and for the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire. The Lord really ministered to her and she thanked us for being out there to pray for folks. All glory goes to King Jesus!

Reimagine Winter Bellview/Myrtle Grove Pensacola, FL

What an Amazing Day this was! The Freedom in Action Team helped serve the Prayer Tent at Reimagine Winter. All I can say was Wow! People came to us all day for prayer! Jesus touched so many lives that day! We were still there praying for people after the event was over. These two teenagers in the picture to the left gave their lives to Jesus and what I love about this is the boy was already evangelizing! He brought one of his friends to me to preach to. I love his heart! All glory goes to King Jesus!

This gentleman broke my heart. He said because of the virus nobody will even roll down their windows and talk to the homeless now. They have been totally forgotten. Shelters and kitchens are being shut down. This was on his sign. Even in times of Adversary, we are all God’s children and need help. We plan on doing more to help these guys in the future!

Continuing Ministry in Pensacola

It’s looking like with the Virus going on all our Ministry out of Pensacola has been shut down, so our hearts have shifted to Pensacola. There is a great need in the homeless community, so we’re going to partner with the body of Christ some here. The Lord has been having us reconnect with folks here to see how we can help each other. Unity is in the air. Also, I believe the cross outreach is critical at this time so were planning on bringing it out if we can and do some street preaching to the Community sharing the gospel with love. Please keep us in Prayer on this!

Friendship, TN May 7-10, 2020 Spring Conference

I’m excited because of everything going on I had to shift our Costa Rica dates a little later which opened up these dates to participate in this conference. Missionaries usually come from all over the world to these conferences. We are also planning to hit the streets to share the gospel as well! Can’t Wait!

Costa Rica May 29-June 8, 2020

Well Praise Jesus! We decided to push back the dates for Costa Rica. We’re praying that the travel ban will be lifted by then in Jesus Name. Praise the Lord the finances for the plane ticket has come in and I now just need the traveling expenses and lodging expenses. I know the Lord is going to provide. I can’t wait to see the precious people in the mountains. We will be bringing them much needed supplies and we hope to do a crusade to the rest of the Village. Its going to be awesome!

Thank You Guys so much for your prayers and gifts. It’s a very trying time right now for everyone!  I believe we have a major opportunity right now to preach the gospel.
