Go and Declare Newsletter June 2023

Savannah, Georgia

It was a powerful time in Savannah! The minister's conference meetings at Faith Harvest Church were incredible! The morning session was so amazing! The prayer and intercession were intense! The Lord really surprised me when church leadership called me up to the altar to pray for me. I’m wrecked in a good way! I went downtown afterward but couldn’t find a place to park. I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do. He said to go to the homeless mission. My GPS showed it was less than a mile away. I parked there and had a chance to minister to several guys while passing out flashlights and granola bars. I prayed for several men, shared the gospel, and gave out my testimony tracts.

The National Day of Prayer Pensacola, Florida

It was an honor to serve at our city's National Day of Prayer event. I was on my way back from the trip to Savannah and I received a message from our friend Ian at WHBR asking if I could bring the cross. I said, “Absolutely!” We went to various sites all over the city to pray and ultimately ended up at City Hall (in the picture to the right). We had a powerful time praying for our elected officials, and members of the judiciary, and for the Lord to send revival to Pensacola and our nation. Praise Jesus

Picayune, Mississippi House of Refuge

We had a powerful time with our House of Refuge family in Picayune, Mississippi. Richard Davis and I held an evangelism workshop and then we went out door to door sharing the gospel and letting folks know about the new House of Refuge church building. We had several divine appointments. In the evening, we took the cross out. We came across some football players from the local high school. We had an opportunity to share with them words of knowledge and encouragement. As soon as the team started praying for them, the Lord opened the heavens and there was a huge downpour of rain. The Lord really ministered to these young men!

Powerful Service at House of Refuge

On Sunday, we shared testimonies and what the Lord had in our hearts. The Lord really moved that morning. The altars were full of precious people giving their lives to the Lord! The Lord was healing hearts! We also had people come forward to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I will never forget the Lord ministering to the gentleman in the picture to the left. The Lord did a mighty work in his life that evening. We love our House of Refuge Family. They are one of the hungriest churches I know for the Lord! All praise to King Jesus!

Family Beach Fest Pensacola

It was a powerful Family Beach Fest this year! Here’s the update from Ben and Cheri Martin (who lead
this event annually). “It’s such an honor for us to serve every year! Our hearts are full, and we are so grateful for everyone who made Family Beach Fest the best year ever
! Sean Feucht, Rick Curry ,Tony Chavez, Freedom Church Pensacola , Pastor Joey Rogers , Adam Field , Bo Grossnickle, Randy Shepherd , Double A productions, along with all of the amazing volunteers, photographers and videographers! We are so grateful for each church, ministry, business, and individual who supported us financially and prayed for this event! We could not do this without you! A huge shoutout to all businesses and ministries who set up tents and served people throughout the day! 79 salvations and over 60 baptisms - that we know of - is a huge win for Team Jesus! We give all of the glory to God!”

 Almost in Eternity!

Tami and I had a close call on Mother’s Day! After having dinner with John, we prayed for him, and he drove off to Tallahassee. While we were driving back home, we stopped at the light at W Street and Cervantes. The light turned green, and we started going thru the light. Suddenly, we heard a sound like a Blue Angel jet engine blasting right in front of our car. It was a stolen Mustang involved in a high-speed police chase. They missed us by inches and lost control of their car about a hundred yards down Cervantes and smashed into a house. Here’s the picture to the left. We are grateful to be still alive! This is what I wrote after the accident: “Praising the Lord, we are alive. I had a chance to witness the folks there. I was overwhelmed by the mercy of God! I told folks how great the mercy of the Lord is! Even though these men committed crimes, the police, firemen, and ambulance workers risked their lives to rescue these men, and get them to the hospital, so they would live. This reminded me of our Jesus, who rescued us while we were still sinners! Jesus laid down His life so we could live!”

 Update on our son, John.

We loved having our son John at home for the Memorial Day Weekend! John drove all afternoon from
Tallahassee to Pensacola on Friday to help with the Family Beach Fest. He’s working as an intern for the summer at Senator Rick Scott’s Office and doing a couple summer classes. Here he is on the right in the picture of Rick Scott’s Tallahassee team. They are visiting the Sheriff at Bristol, Florida, a small city that was hit by a Hurricane a few years back. John’s a busy guy these days. We are very proud of him! The Lord is doing wonderful things in his life!

Update on Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and Murcia, Spain

Wow! Time is flying by! Brett and I head out on June 19th for Amsterdam and Murcia, Spain. We still need a huge breakthrough in finances for traveling, lodging, food, and blessings to the families that are hosting us. Chris sent me a message from Spain saying he’s planning something radical. This excites us! Souls!  We are believing for over $3000 dollars in total to come in before I leave June 19th! What an opportunity to see the faithfulness of Jesus! We know the Lord is going to provide! He can do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think! Praise Jesus! Please keep us in your prayers on this. We also need finances above and beyond our monthly support to help care for my family's
household expenses here in Pensacola.

Thank You so Much!

We thank you guys again for praying for us and partnering with us. May was an incredible month and you guys are a huge part of it! Thank You for sending us out! The harvest is truly ripe! We were born at such a time as this! Greater things to come! Together in the Harvest!
